Asside from a heavy fragrance what do container candles offer?

April 7, 2008

I’ve recently taken note of the selection of candles in a local grocery store; I was hoping to see some variety. Their was many different scents but all the candles where in containers. Aside from a few tarts their wasn’t much to choose from. It’s almost as if all anyone cares about is filling their rooms, homes and offices with a scent, which can sometimes be an overwhelming aroma. The candle it’s self doesn’t seem to be important. Only what it will make the room smell like. It’s as thought the real beauty of candles have been lost. I wonder how many people have candle light dinners these day’s? You certainly wouldn’t want to dine on lobster and steak with the aroma of bayberry in the air, you would want to enjoy the aroma of your freshly prepared meal.

Container candles are nice but they don’t illuminate a space quite like a pillar. Their’s just something about the way a pillar glows the longer it’s burned. The light aroma that circles the air, and the feeling you have when the lights are dimmed. I love natural bees wax candle’s; as it burns it gleams like melting gold. Depending on your style and decor you may want to choose colors that accent your room. No matter what color you choose they will illuminate nicely. Pillar candles have a unique way of burning down the center as long as you keep them out of a breeze. All candles can be scented so the next time you think of candles remember pillars will create an unforgettable experience and set a mood. Remember to never burn any candles unattended. Enjoy candle light save a little energy and amp up the romance whenever possible, you’ll be surprised how quickly a candle it will change the atmosphere.
